Wetter Rhodt unter Rietburg is a municipality within the Sdliche Weinstrae district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It’s located on the German Wine Route, between the cities of Neustadt an der Weinstrae and Landau in der Pfalz. Wetter Rhodt is thought for its picturesque half-timbered homes, its vineyards, and its proximity to the Rietburg ruins.
The municipality of Wetter Rhodt unter Rietburg was first talked about in a doc from 1156. It was initially a part of the County of Leiningen, however it handed to the Citizens of the Palatinate in 1460. Wetter Rhodt was granted city rights in 1490.
