Wetter Lorch am Rhein is a municipality within the district of Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis, in Hesse, Germany. It’s located on the proper financial institution of the Rhine, approx. 15km southwest of Wiesbaden.
The municipality is understood for its wine manufacturing, and is a part of the Rheingau wine area. Wetter Lorch am Rhein was first talked about in 1108, and was granted city rights in 1355. The city was closely broken through the Thirty Years’ Conflict, however was rebuilt within the 18th century. Wetter Lorch am Rhein is residence to a lot of historic buildings, together with the 14th-century Liebfrauenkirche and the Sixteenth-century Rathaus.
